View Full Version : Possible school changeover to EZ?

I visited the shop at the high school here (the kids are building a robot for competition) and talked to the shop teacher. I looked around the shop and saw they had a large table saw, two chop saws, a joiner, and two band saws among other equipment. I thought this was a good opportunity to ask if he had heard of EurekaZone. He had not, so I mentioned that there was a safer way to teach woodworking. He agreed that there were some really dangerous tools there and that he had seen the SawStop legislation. Then he mentioned that he was in the process of upgrading and replacing the shop equipment and had seen the Festool products but they were expensive. To make a long story short, he is planning to come over and look at my spanking new EZ-1, RipSizer and SSRK soon. Maybe there will be one more school shop that is safer for the kids (and teacher) in the near future. Thanks Dino!!:)
