Sure, I can get almost glue ready joints using a track, sometimes good enough but at most need a little work with a block plane. Sold my jointer years ago, it'd be handy to have one now but I'm not...

The UEG is good at making 2 edges parallel as long as you have a straight edge to work from. It won't make a straight edge on a crooked board. Not many things in woodworking as satisfying as setting...

If you are talking about Christopher (tofu) and Mike and if they are indeed not involved in this forum any longer it is the forum and EZ's loss. Look at their Join Dates and Post counts they are both...

You've mentioned a digital adjustable square a couple of times. Here's the deal. The minimum resolution on those is .1 degree. If you would use one to set up your EZ Square and it was .1 degree out,...

As I read their website the $130 only gets you either a left or right hand set of extrusions. The right hand set would work with their square much like the Cabinetmaker works with EZ Square to make...

I'd briefly looked at the TSO parallel edge guide on their website but didn't look at pricing. I did this time, it appears that what you need to make it work is 2 of their squares, so that's $300 and...

IMO the indexing lip is the key, whether you lock it in place with a spring latch or knobs doesn't matter as long as it is secure.

Since we've now added the Cabinetmaker to the discussion one...

As I see it the big and important difference between this french square and the TSO one is not the spring clamp Vs.the knobs is that the TSO square is self squaring when you mount it and the french...

I couldn't understand a word he was saying🙂
I'm guessing it will get redesigned to add the ridge that indexes to the track edge for positive 90D setting like the TSO square. I like the fence and...

I'm thinking he's saying to put a radius or chamfer on the front corner of the saw base to help it ride over rough spots.

Is the UEG backwards

When cutting panels I'm often frustrated that when the panels get narrower there isn't room for my clamps to hold the panel down without them being hit by the UEG arms. This happened again yesterday...

If your material is moving around it makes things harder. Not sure what you mean by your sawbase grabbing the sheet. I know with mine about 75% of the time the rear arm will bump into the corner of...

IMO EZ should offer a real 90D square, sort of like the TSO square for euro tracks. You put it on and it's 90D, no setting it up with another square and tapping it around. It could be in addition to...
