EZ-Square for my cordless Makita

There is an aftermarket square for the Festool and Makita called GRS-16PE. It costs $180! Took a scrap piece of 1/4" aluminum, piece of SME, and a draw clamp.

For some reason none of the edges worked as well as the originals (15 years ago???). I now do without ACE. Use a block with a groove to fit the rail and a nail to mark the blade edge.
