much easier to transform the EZ-1 to a true multi-functional table.

Use a thick plate of aluminum to spread the weight.
I see no problem either way.
Gravity works with you and after setting everything you can use
a small screw just in case.

Remove the track from the bridge and look for any mistakes at the arms.
