I look at FOG about once a week for the last few years don't think I've ever seen complaints about edges etc. Did a search on that forum and did find complaints from years ago about adhesive issues...

How do you apply too much clamping pressure? Tightening the clamp pulls the track down onto the material. Applying more pressure can't do anything more.

Custom saw base? To do it right you'd have to replace everything from the bottom of the motor down. If you even want to compete let alone beat the euro tracksaws you can't do it keeping the factory...
