Default A couple of changes to my EZ1

I got an EZ1 a while back from a Rockler store closeout. After assembling it I decided to make a couple of changes. My shop is dominated by a 4'X8' rolling table that I do just about everything on. I thought the EZ1 took up too much shop space standing on its own so I decided to take the legs off and make it so I could place it on top of my table when I needed it. So I made some new plywood corners to replace the corner brackets. It will also work on sawhorses. When not in use it stands on a couple of brackets against the wall.
One feature I didn't understand about the EZ1 was why you'd put the squaring fence on a moveable crosspiece. Every time you move the crosspiece you need to resquare it. Or, more likely you just don't move the crosspiece but then why have it moveable? So I moved the squaring fence out to the SSME that makes up the frame. This also frees up the sliding crosspiece and adds some cutting capacity.
