I know the long extrusions were part of the initial run of tables and may have been a special for those that pre-ordered the MFT. I wonder if there are plans to make them available again.

Default 6 feet extrusions

I vaguely remember a picture of the MFT set up on end, in pictures during its development, with long vertical extrusions to support a full sheet of plywood so that you could use the UEG vertically to cross cut it, kind of like the panel saws you see at Lowe's. Could this be their use?

I remember seeing it set up initially as a panel saw. I did not set things up right away when I received them. I did not catch the table being on edge without the legs .
