So I stopped by staples and picked up some binder clips. First try showed that I could set the to either side of the blade, but setting them to the side "not-under" the track is much easier. I was also able to set them in the other direction, but trying to work them underneath the track was kind of a contortion/acrobatic feat. I also figured I could have a spacer that would reach under the track, and basically set the tab to a position outside of the track and allow the spacer to reach underneath.

It looks like I can simply set them to a specific measurement. I was able to take stops I already had set and knew what they were supposed to be and it all matched right.

I don't like the steel against the blade. I may have to make more use of the spacer, or add some wood to the side of the clips so that the edge touching the blade is wood rather than steel.

I will play more with these once I have the PBB setup. But that is a different thread.

Here are some pictures.
