Default What is this new thing?Clean Cut Edge Guide?

Here's the link, but doesn't show how it goes together or what you do with it.
https://www.eurekazone.com/product-p/ezcc52sme.htm
Package includes

52" Straight Edge Guide (SME)
Smart Toggle Clamps x 2
EZsmart Saw Base
2 Anti-Chip Inserts (AC1)

My guess is that it is to be used as a straight edge and you guide the saw base against the SME off-track, or the saw base somehow attaches to the SME. Not sure how it would clamp and to what. If freehand, doesn't it need the fin? or is the fin shown in the picture but not listed. Instructions and pictures in use would be a good idea.

Looks like the SME is intended to be used just as a straight edge. The AC-1 lets the saw with EZ Base sit flat on your material, butt the side of the saw into the SME. Not sure why they'd include toggle clamps.
Not sure why you'd bother buying this, when anything straight would work.
Or maybe I have the idea or its use wrong.

I guess you use it slot down so the clamps can fasten it to the workpiece.

hi Dik.
we need more pictures. at least one to show everything.

Yes. The SME is your straight edge and I think is a good way for those who need a Clean cut without investing on sliders and entire systems.
The Smart Base provides the best antichip protection.
The rest is up to the user.
I'm sure we can find many uses for the SME.
