Your solution would be more ergonomic if I cut the handle and welded it back on at an angle. Having the wood push toward you just makes so much more sense.

Not everyone is using a 6 way stop in front of their stock to capture the wood.

*Disclaimer: I know what i'm talking about 50% of the time, every time...
