Default A couple of questions about the new UEG base

I was looking at one of my spare UEG base and notice it has a bow in it that is about 3/16. I was thinking that when I clamp it to the saw that should correct itself. I was just wondering if I should do that or send it back to get a replacement since my saw base is pretty thin and the plastic looks pretty tough.

When is the fin going to be available. I would like to cut some sheets that are leaning up against the wall to save my back.

I have a left sided saw. I was thinking about rotating the base around and setting up that way. I don't see any problems other than I would lose the anti-chip insert. Well when I'm doing rough work that doesn't matter.

Thanks,
Hope all had a Merry Christmas
