My main concern is that Dino is OK physically. Has he ever disappeared abruptly from the forum before?

on the website I see that the UEG shows temp out of stock (which it has for a while) and now ALL of the worktables show to be in backorder status...

Jim,

I finally was able to reach Eurekazone by phone today. I taked to Charles and voiced my concern about customer service. There is a lady that is answering the phone twice a week. I told Charles if customer service does not improve, they will loose customers. Charles said that Dino usually was taking care of the customer service side of things but he is extremely sick. My thoughts are with Dino and I hope he fully recovers.

Todd,

Thanks for the update. You are right, the most important thing now is for Dino to get well.

Prayers for Dino...

Hi guys.
Thanks for the support and prayers.
Many things turn against eurekazone.
suppliers with 22 weeks waiting time after we spend
10's of thousands to re-tool in order to update and upgrade the entire product line including few new tools.
the "trade war" overload the US factories and that effected everything.
believe it or not..the new extruder ( closer to the factory) wanted 50% more
to cut his delivery time from 22 ? weeks to 20 or 18...

My health is getting better and as soon as we can have control on suppliers
we will see all EZ promises coming alive.
Until then, we keep working in future projects and make sure that all our customers can receive replacement parts and everything else that we can make.

To make sure that EZ will never go out of business we even opening another
small factory in NE ( North East) to continue and take over the production of all new tools and projects. As always backward comparable and leaving no-one
out of the loop.

thanks to all.

Dino, it's good to see you online! Glad you are feeling better. Thank you for the explanation as to what's going on. Sorry to hear about all the mess and long lead times.

Dino, I just wanted to pile on and say that I'm glad you're doing better and I trust you can overcome the supply difficulties. I have a basement of tools that are a testament to what you've built so far!

I used to be in the airplane parts making business. Vendor lead times were up to 56 weeks on some things. Man, how am I supposed to plan a year in advance? Makes manufacturing and inventory control interesting. I don't envy EZ.

sean,
another hit come from a supplier that we dealt from day one.
he sold his factory and they cannot find our dies for few tools.
like smart clamps, corners for tables and handles for squares among other...

at the end is going to be better because we are under pressure to
come up with new designs while keeping control on the supply line.

Exporting use to be 25% but with the "trade wars"
now we have to re-think everything.

good luck and thanks.
