Tom, upon seeing the oak base and wall cabinet I made, and the stainless steel sink that I used to replace one of those cheap plastic utility sinks in our utility room, my son proclaimed; "Dad, it's just a utility room." Except for in the shop, I like things I do to look as good as possible. I don't always succeed, but I try.

Dik,

I watch your videos and appreciate the knowledge that those videos impart to me.


The reality that only a few people other than you and your family will see the pantry is not relevant too the pride that you obviously have in your work, you probably sleep better when the job you finish is what you wanted, or the best job you could do, and not just accepted. So I think you will continue to do your best, and that is the most satisfying work a craftsman can do.

We are pleased with it. I finished the last of the trim today, but am still adding shelves as they become available and my wife decides where she wants them.
