put diagonal braces on my bench a couple days ago also. made a serious difference.

What size bolt head or nut fit in the side slots of the sme's
the chart that was on the site I no longer see it,The one with all the connection I did save a copy some place but not sure what drive its on dang. In any case i'll find out what they are.

Looks good Dik will give it a go.

i just attached 4" wide plywood strips diagonally on the legs on each end. used 5/16" head bolts slid into the slots on the sme legs. coupled with the front to back and the side to side plywood strips i mounted to hold the lower shelf and this bench is solid as a rock.

That was it Sawdust 5/16" was have a blank moment lol.
I have seen a few things done this year to the under area.
I like the idea of storage for other EZ tools and parts.

Maybe a shelf just for the dust near the top would also
be a good thing. Maybe a slide in or out sytem in case you want to move
outside or take with you.
