Question Smart Clamp or Track change?

Recently, my buddy rec'd his EZSMART Track Saw System 108." It came with 2 clamps and he needed 4, so I loaned him mine.

Come to find out, only 2 of my clamps fit his tracks. My other 2 clamps are too thick to fit the new track.

Anyone else experience this?

Jeff,
I didn't know they'd changed the track extrusion (?); only times I've had a non-fitting clamp is when the all-thread on the clamp loosens up and begins to protrude a bit past the bottom of the clamp extrusion. It doesn't take much for it to not fit into the track, or, to fit with difficulty. To fix, re-locktite the all-thread and sand off the protruding portion of the all-thread, back to being flush with the bottom of the extrusion.
hth,
Rick

Default Thanks Rick

It's actually the EZ Connector Extrusions that are the issue.

Now for pictures.

Manufacturer's variance, no doubt. Eventually, I may buy more Connector Extrusions to rectify the issue. Maybe I can work a trade for my left over B2B extrusions?
