I like the way this table has turned out. Many options for clamping and holding. I like the use of the rigid connector in the Guide Rail for use with the SSRK. Even though it is the Clamping Bench System it could be the go to table for routing dadoes and grooves. Love the EZ branded track clamps. Great work guys.

Hi All,
I am new to the EZ world and recently acquired the 108" track, smart clamps, clamp upgrade, UEG. I love the tools, I especially appreciate that they are built in a very solid manner, like a tank. I have limited storage space and when I feel the need to make some saw dust, I set my tools up outdoors and get busy. with that said, I am planning on acquiring an EZ One (not Journeyman) when the folding leg version is released. I would also LIKE to get the EZSMART Clamping Table Top without mounting it to a bench to save on some room in my garage. Is it possible to just set the clamping table top on some saw horses? If I did that it looks like I would lose some clamping functionality because the dedicated table for it has SME around the edges. there really is not a way for me to leave these tables assembled taking up valuable space in my garage. I need to break them down for storage. So, then would it be possible/functional to mount the clamping table top to my EZ one for the occasions when I would need that? thanks for any help/insight that you can give.... Jim N. Texas |

Hi James, The EZ-1 with folding legs will be posted on the Eurekaone.com site within the week. It will have folding legs similar to the Journeyman however they are additionally extendable and have adjustable feet. The frame is still SSME and the guide rail will still be 72" however the squaring rod has been upgraded. You can call the factory now if you would like more details. The clamp table was designed as a standalone table so the table top alone does not fit between the SSME's on the EZ-1 as the size is 48" x 24". Of course the table top could be used on top of the cross rails, another workbench or on sawhorses as you proposed.

Allegedly Eurekazone was working on a folding leg version of the EZ1 with a beefed up squaring rod and more that was ready for imminent release months ago.
The Journeyman has folding legs but is a smaller version of the EZ1. The conversion kit is an aftermarket addition that the end user must install. In looking at the installation videos, I was hoping to be able to just outright purchase an EZ1 that is designed with folding legs from the factory. These posts asking about updates are being ignored and I cant understand why. Perhaps I am doing something wrong..... If anyone knows anything, can you please post? thanks Jim |
