Default EZ PVC Clamp

I seen a clamp similar to this on pinterest made from some 3" pvc and two dowels sticking out to open and close it. I thought that seems handy I'll bet I could whip one up with some stuff lying about the shop, and sure enough I did, it's not pretty but also didn't cost me anything. Honestly not sure what I'll use it for, but it might come in handy someday? I did a brief search on the forum and didn't see anything like it, which could possibly indicate it's poor utility. Maybe someone will find it useful and/or improve it.

Its a drilled and tapped 2" piece of connector extrusion,(this aready had some holes drilled in it, that's why its off center), a 2" wide piece of 2" pvc and a couple of bolts and a wing nut. Looking at the photos construction is pretty obvious and a dowel could replace the long bolt.

variations with some mod's of the simple "clamp"
