Default A first look at the Moduni base.

Hi Guys.
This one was custom made for a plunge saw.
I'm posting the pictures to get feedback
and have a look at the future ez bases.

Stability, stability and ease of installation without many holes.

You used a Festool saw for the demo? I was hoping for a regular one, with the tilt/angle track.

So do these new bases, require unbolting the saws plate, and connecting it as a unit to the saw?

Thanks

So you use clamp to hold the base to the saw? is that what the two aluminum bar on the side is for?

Also this is confusing for me, after all the talk and complain about plunge saw short comings the first moduni you show us is for plunge saw??? All plunge saws comes with their own track, I don't see why we should use it on the ez track and loose cutting depth.

Not too impress with this moduni.

For whatever reason, there are those people who prefer the Festool saw and the EZ rails. I tried it and didn''t care for it.

Dino tries to accomodate everyone. This one was a custom base for a other than normal saw. I would assume that since the parts still haven't arrived for the new base for the normal saws we use, he was just trying to give us an idea.

It is obvious that others feel differently about this issue or someone wouldn't have ordered the base. Being different isn't grounds for an attack.

Guys.
This is a custom base for the plunge saw
and to get an idea about the MOD-UNI base.
The idea is the same.
a. more depth of cut.
b. more stability.
c. easier installation. easier removal. easier alignment. less drilling
d. works with the SSRK. ( ready to be connected)
e. renewable ac-2.
f. stability bar even after he cut.

this is a test...this is only a test.
thanks.

Sorry if it sounded like an attack, it's not.

What I would like to see is the base mounted on a left bladed saw, because after working with right bladed saw (yes I bought one per you guys recommendation) I still like left bladed better.

I think that all of us including Dino would like to see the new base and we will as soon as the vendor gets the parts to Dino.
