This setup was made easy and quick for a flooring guy.
He like to use his new Mag 77 worm drive on the new Moduni base.
Fully adjustable and universal. Works with left and right bladed saws,
From 6-1/2" to 16-1/2"

One Note about the saw guard.
the Moduni base comes with a slot that you drop your saw blade to align the saw/base/track.
After the installation, the area for the guard to work freely gets removed.
The production model bases come with a kerf around the guard that can be easily removed with a utility knife.
Very important to remove the opening for the guard and make sure that the guard operates freely.

Few more pictures.
Cutting wet, warped, twisted... pallet stock.
IF we can cut this wood safely and easy, we can cut anything better than traditional ways and tools.

The Dead Wood Concept at work.
Some people ilke to push wood into spinning blades.
Others like to work like machinists.

Dino,

I'm glad you chose to show that setup. It is great for smaller cuts.

Also it illustrates just how basic a PBB can be and still be functional. All you need is the rail, bridge and a couple pieces of SME.

Love seeing a left handed saw used.
This would be a great portable crosscutter, to replace a miter saw. Did you try or take any pictures with new sliding miter square? This might be good to show them in use with anything you said may have pictures coming up. (also that the square can be used with lumber thicker then it, under the Bridge)
Also, is that a new extrusion on the Moduni base, or are you cutting up rails for the ends, just for the bases?

EDIT: Everytime I see you doing thin rips, I think you are selling Bridges to paint stick makers, LOL.

Randal,
Nothing goes to waste.
We use the ez to cut extrusions for other applications.
You can make 6 extrusions from the ez rail.

Think. Rips in bad lumber shows that the most dangerours cuts can now be safely and easy cut. Cutting the same piece of wood with any other tool is
guarantee to buy your surgeon a new car?

Hi Larry.
25" cross cut capacity is perfect for cabinetmaking.
25" RAS is about $5.000.00? VS $500?

If someone own a good tablesaw they can use the PBB mini cross cutter
and have a good setup.

Dino,

I recently loaned my small cross-cutter to a friend for him to use to put in a laminent floor. He was having problems getting up and down. With the small crosscutter. He could just stay on the floor and make all of his cuts right there.

As soon as I get time, I have to make one for him. I think there will be a huge market for a small tool like this.
